Sparks Share New Song So May We Start Featuring Adam Driver And Marion Cotillard

Friday, 28 May 2021 Written by Jon Stickler

Sparks have shared a new song, So May We Start.

The track will feature in the forthcoming rock opera Annette, which was directed by Leos Carax, who co-penned the script with Sparks' Ron and Russell Mael.

Driven by a pounding beat and stabbing piano notes, it finds the brothers singing alongside waves of additional vocals from the film's stars Adam Driver, Marion Cotillard, and Simon Helberg. Press play below.

Annette will open the 74th annual Cannes Film Festival in July, followed by an August 6 theatrical release stateside. It'll hit Amazon Prime on August 20.

In related news, the Edgar Wright-directed documentary, The Sparks Brothers, which tells the duo's story, will open in theatres on June 18.

Sparks will embark on their rescheduled UK and European tour in April 2022. They'll hit the road in support of their latest album, 'A Steady Drip, Drip, Drip', released in 2020.
