Get You Down is the latest track to be lifted from his new album, 'Seventeen Going Under', due out on October 8 through Polydor Records.
The song finds Fender delivering his trademark heartland rock inspired indie-rock with pop sensibilities, complete with saxophone and uplifting strings. It comes accompanied with a video featuring footage of the singer-songwriter and his band's recent performances at Reading and Leeds festival.
Introducing the track online, Fender said: "It’s one of the more personal tracks on the record and one of the first that I wrote."
Fender will continue to showcase material from the new record during his UK tour this month, though his Glasgow shows were recently rescheduled due to the possibility members of his band had contracted COVID-19. New dates are yet to be announced. Head below to check out the rest of his upcoming dates.
