Sam Fischer has released a new single, Hopeless Romantic.
The heartfelt and inspiring pop number follows the Australian artist's duet with Demi Lovato on What Other People Say, along with his singles This City and Simple. Introducing the track, he commented:
"There have been times over the past two years where I really felt like I'd never get to do the things I'd always dreamed about doing as an artist. With every virtual performance that ended with a deep silence from my furniture, it just started making me really sad, and at the same time guilty, because I wasn't appreciating what I have at all. I was actively refusing to accept the reality and instead romanticizing a version of life that just simply didn't exist.
"That's really what Hopeless Romantic is about. Though I will say, having just come off of my first headline tour, where I got to meet my fans for the first time, who are the people who give me this life, I'm in a much better place."
The 30-year-old recently wrapped up his first tour in the UK, including a show at London's Garage. He'll take the trek to the United States early in 2022. Head here for dates and ticket details.
