Terrace Martin Confirms Imminent Release Date For New Album 'Drones', Shares Lead Single Leave Us Be

Terrace Martin has confirmed the imminent arrival of his new album, 'Drones'.

Due out this Friday (November 5) via Sounds of Crenshaw/BMG, the feature-filled record boasts collaborations with guests from the worlds of rap, hip hop, R&B, soul, house music, and jazz. Martin said:

"There are touches of R&B, touches of jazz, touches of hip hop, touches of classical, Cuban music, West African music, house music. You’re going to hear all elements of Black music within this record. It’s not one element I can leave out if I call myself a true Black artist."

Guests include Kendrick Lamar, Kamasi Washington, Snoop Dogg, YG, Ty Dolla $ign, Leon Bridges, Channel Tres, Robert Glasper, Smino, and Hit-Boy, among others.

As a preview, Martin has shared the lead single Leave Us Be, a track driven by a funky bass groove, with lyrics about living life in Los Angeles. Press play, and view the record's cover art and tracklist below.
