Beyoncé Releases New Single Be Alive

Friday, 12 November 2021 Written by Jon Stickler

Beyoncé has shared a new song, Be Alive.

The powerful, stripped back piano-led ballad will appear in the forthcoming Venus and Serena Williams biopic, King Richard.

Starring Will Smith as Richard Williams, the father to the tennis stars, the Reinaldo Marcus Green-directed film is set to arrive in cinemas and on HBO Max next Friday (November 19).

There's still no news on the star's follow-up to her last album, 2016's 'Lemonade'. She did, however, put out 'Everything Is Love' in 2018, a collaborative record with her husband and hip hop giant Jay-Z.
