Idles have unveiled a video for When The Lights Come On.
The song appears on the Bristol band's Kenny Beats-produced fourth LP, ‘Crawler’, released in November. Introducing it, frontman Joe Talbot said:
"When the lights come on. Our third offering from Crawler. A poem of light and sound exploring the cold light of day. Thank you x"
The unsettling black and white clip, meanwhile, features George Garratt of fellow Bristolian band Heavy Lungs. It was directed and edited by Idles guitarist Lee Kiernan, and written by Talbot.
Idles will tour the UK and Europe early in 2022 in support of 'Crawler' and its predecessor, 2020's 'Ultra Mono'.
They recently cancelled their three gigs at Dublin's Vicar Street in January due to rising COVID-19 cases, but then confirmed their biggest headline Irish show to date at Dublin's Royal Hospital Kilmainham on May 29. Tickets go on sale at 10am on December 15.
