The nominations for the Brit Awards 2022 have been revealed.
Adele (pictured), Ed Sheeran, Dave, Little Simz and Sam Fender will battle each other for Best Artist and Best Album, after organisers scrapped its female and male categories from its list of awards, going gender-neutral for UK and international artists.
Performers will now be in the running for Artist Of The Year or International Artist Of The Year at the annual ceremony, which is due to take place on February 8.
London newcomer Central Cee has landed three nods, including Best New Artist, Song Of The Year for Obsessed With You, and in the newly created category of Best Hip Hop/Rap/Grime Act.
Song Of The Year, meanwhile, has 15 acts nominated, including Elton John and Dua Lipa, KSI, and A1 & J1. Coldplay bagged two nominations: Best Rock/Alternative Act and Best Group, with the latter category also featuring D-Block Europe, Little Mix, London Grammar and Wolf Alice.
Eurovision winners Måneskin picked up two nods for Best International Group and International Song, while Billie Eilish, Doja Cat, Lil Nas X and Olivia Rodrigo also earn two nominations each in the International categories. For the full nominations head here.
The Rising Star Award winner for 2022 was announced earlier in December. Holly Humberstone saw off competition from Bree Runway and Lola Young to take home the gong, following in the footsteps of previous winners Griff, Celeste, Sam Smith and Adele.
In other news, Damon Albarn, Craig David, and Bastille are among the big names set to play intimate London shows for War Child's Brits Week in February. Tickets are on sale.
