The Weeknd Unveils Gasoline Video

Tuesday, 11 January 2022 Written by Jon Stickler

The Weeknd has released a video for Gasoline.

Following the clip for Sacrifice, the Matilda Finn–directed film finds the Canadian superstar at a dance party, where he crosses paths with his elderly alter-ego.

Rolling out over Depeche Mode-esque drum and synth-based production, the cool, funk jam showcases Abel Tesfaye's voice at a lower register.

The song appears on his new album, 'Dawn FM', released earlier in January. The follow-up to 2020's 'After Hours' features special guest collaborations with Tyler, The Creator, Lil Wayne, Quincy Jones, Jim Carrey, Max Martin, and Oneohtrix Point Never.
