GWAR Detail New Album 'The New Dark Ages' And Companion Graphic Novel

GWAR have announced their 15th studio album and a companion graphic novel.
'The New Dark Ages' will arrive on CD and digital streaming services on June 3, marking the band's first studio full-length in five years, following up 2017's 'The Blood Of Gods'. Vinyl and cassette options will follow on September 16 via the band's own Pit Records.
The record will be paired with a Z2 comics novel dubbed Gwar In The Duoverse Of Absurdity, also due out on June 3. GWAR's website gives a synopsis: "The band are sucked off into an alternate universe to do battle with their evil twins and the specter of rogue technology."
In September 2021, GWAR put out 'Scumdogs XXX Live' capturing their 2020 livestream performance of their second LP, 1990's 'Scumdogs Of The Universe'.
