Ed Sheeran has released a new version of Bad Habits featuring Bring Me The Horizon.
The singer-songwriter and Sheffield band debuted the revamped, heavy take of the 2021 song during their opening performance at the 2022 Brit Awards last week (February 8). BMTH's vocalist Oli Sykes said:
"From receiving the email asking whether we'd like to open the Brits with Ed Sheeran to us chatting and bouncing ideas to rehearsing and then performing and now releasing, this has needless to say been pretty mental. But we are all about pushing the boundaries of our own and other genres, so this felt like the perfect challenge."
Sheeran added: "I really enjoyed the show last week and I think people will really like the new version. Excited to get it out."
Ed Sheeran recently announced a series of low-key warm-up shows in the UK, in preparation for his The + - = ÷ x Tour (aka The Mathematics Tour) this summer. The stadium trek across the UK and Europe is in support of his latest album, '=', released in 2021. He also recently dropped a rework of the record's track The Joker And The Queen featuring Taylor Swift.
