The headliners have been revealed for the Teenage Cancer Trust show series at the Royal Albert Hall in London this spring.
Don Broco will headline on March 21 backed by the Abbey Road Studios orchestra, while Yungblud will top the bill on March 23. The next day will see a performance from Madness, with The Who playing a special acoustic show on March 25. Liam Gallagher will return to the iconic venue to perform on March 26, with Ed Sheeran rounding off the week of gigs on March 27.
In addition to the musical line-up, a night of comedy will take place on March 22 hosted by Joel Dommett, featuring stand-up comics Tom Allen, Rob Beckett, Rosie Jones, Romesh Ranganathan, Suzi Ruffell, and Seann Walsh.
The Who's Roger Daltrey (pictured), Teenage Cancer Trust patron and the driving force behind the concerts, said:
"Live music has been hit hard by the pandemic and it has been particularly frustrating for me that we haven’t been able to get artists on stage to raise money for this vitally important cause.
"But we haven't given up. My wonderful team and I have pulled out all the stops to make this 20th series of shows for Teenage Cancer Trust the best ever. I am so grateful for the loyalty and continued support given to us by the music and comedy industries. The Who will be back on stage this year at the Hall alongside some wonderful talent. After the last two unbelievably difficult years, young people with cancer deserve everything we can do for them."
The special guests are still to be announced for all the shows. Tickets go on general sale at 9am on February 25. Money raised supports the Teenage Cancer Trust.
