Blossoms have released a new single, The Sulking Poet.
It's the fourth song to be shared from the Stockport band's upcoming album, 'Ribbon Around The Bomb', due out on April 29. Lead vocalist and guitarist Tom Ogden said:
"I once saw a Blossoms fan page describe me as 'The Sulking Poet' and I thought that was a great name for a song. I have been told that I need to smile more from time to time. This song touches on the imposter syndrome I’ve sometimes felt in the past. How did I get here? Do I deserve it? Should I be enjoying myself more?"
The cheerful, upbeat track will appear on the record alongside the previously unveiled cuts Care For, Ode To NYC, and the title track. Head below to view the accompanying video, directed by Edwin Burdis, creative director for the Arctic Monkeys.
To celebrate the LP, they'll play two intimate shows at Manchester's Band On The Wall on April 30. They'll appear at numerous summer festivals, including Y Not?, Truck Festival, and Glastonbury, as well as dates supporting The Killers. They'll also visit Kingston to play at Pryzm for Banquet Records.

Sat April 30 2022 - MANCHESTER Band on the Wall
