Opeth have shared a previously unreleased track, Width Of A Circle.
Unfurling across electric guitar, piano keys, percussion, and powerful vocals from frontman Lars Mikael Åkerfeldt, the expansive song will appear on the upcoming extended edition of the Swedish prog rockers' 2019 album, 'In Cauda Venenum', due out via their new label Atomic Fire Records on May 13.
The reissue will include both the Swedish and English language versions of the record, along with a bonus disc containing three previously unreleased tunes in both languages. Width Of A Circle/Cirkelns Riktning will feature alongside The Mob/Pöbeln, and and Freedom & Tyranny/Frihet & Tyranni. It also boasts new artwork by Travis Smith.
The song follows news of their North American co-headline tour with Mastodon in April and May. Head here for details. Following that, they'll top the bill at the UK's ArcTanGent festival in August, and play London's Eventim Apollo on November 18.
