The Wanted's Tom Parker Dies Aged 33 Following Battle With Brain Cancer

Tom Parker from The Wanted has died aged 33.
The singer (pictured right) was diagnosed with terminal brain cancer in September 2020 after suffering a seizure. He had recently spent time in Spain receiving treatment.
His bandmates confirmed the news with the "heaviest of hearts" via a statement issued to social media on Wednesday (March 30). They wrote:
"Max, Jay, Siva, Nathan and the whole Wanted family are devastated by the tragic and premature loss of their bandmate Tom Parker, who passed away peacefully at lunchtime today surrounded by his family and his band mates.
"Tom was an amazing husband to Kelsey, and father to Aurelia and Bodhi. He was our brother, words can’t express the loss and sadness we feel. Always and forever in our hearts."
Parker recently returned to the stage with his bandmates for The Wanted's tour after he was forced to pull out of the starting dates because of his treatment overseas.
The group split in 2014 but reformed in 2021 in support of Parker, releasing a greatest hits album, as well as playing a charity gig at London's Royal Albert Hall.
