Maggie Rogers Confirms July Release For Second Album 'Surrender'

Thursday, 31 March 2022 Written by Jon Stickler

Maggie Rogers has announced her second album.

The follow-up to her 2019 debut 'Heard It In A Past Life' is called 'Surrender' and will arrive on July 29 through Polydor Records.

Rogers began working on the LP on the Maine coast in early 2020, following a lengthy tour supporting her first record, for which she picked up a Best New Artist Grammy Award nomination.

It finds Kid Harpoon and Rogers co-producing, and comprises 12 tracks recorded in three locations; Electric Lady Studios in New York City, Peter Gabriel's Real World Studios near Bath, England, and her parents' garage.
