Freddie Gibbs has dropped a collaboration with Rick Ross.
The Kenny Beats-produced Ice Cream marks the Indiana hip hop heavyweight's first new music of 2022, and arrives with a video featuring Gibbs taking an ice cream truck for a cruise around town, surrounded by women.
Reimagining and sampling Raekwon's 1995 classic of the same name with a fresh trap drum beat, it marks the second occasion Gibbs and Ross have joined forces, following Scottie Beam, a cut from Gibbs' 2020 album 'Alfredo'. It follows his November 2021 single with Judakiss, Black Illuminati.
Earlier in 2022, Gibbs confirmed during an appearance on The Bill Simmons Podcast that his 'Soul Sold Separately (S.S.S.)' album will arrive in June, though an exact date is still to be revealed.
Gibbs plays London's Roundhouse tonight (April 1) as part of a brief visit to the UK. He also appears at Coachella later that month as part of an extensive North American tour.
Freddie Gibbs Upcoming Tour Dates are as follows
Fri April 01 2022 - LONDON Roundhouse
Mon April 04 2022 - DUBLIN Vicar Street
