Jeremy Loops has announced a new album.
The South African singer-songwriter will release 'Heard You Got Love' on July 8, following up 2018's 'Critical as Water'.
The record will feature This Town, his previously shared collaboration with Ladysmith Black Mambazo, as well as his new single Better Together, which he co-wrote with Ed Sheeran, Johnny McDaid and Steve Mac. The latter is a catchy folk-pop track with a chorus that begs to be sung back by a crowd.
Discussing how he met Sheeran at a private party after the artist's first stadium show in South Africa, Loops said:
“He said I was a better loop artist than he is. Very kind, but not true! But we are very similar artists, in many aspects of our jobs. We spent the night hanging out and talking shop, and he suggested we write together.”
Loops will support his new album with a European tour that will include shows in Glasgow, Dublin, Manchester and London during October. Tickets are on sale now.
Jeremy Loops Upcoming Tour Dates are as follows
Fri September 02 2022 - GLASGOW SWG3
Sat September 03 2022 - DUBLIN Academy
Tue September 06 2022 - MANCHESTER O2 Ritz
Thu October 06 2022 - LONDON Eventim Apollo
