Sun's Signature—the new project from Cocteau Twins' Elizabeth Fraser and her partner Damon Reece—have shared a new song.
Underwater will appear on the duo's upcoming self-titled EP, due out through Partisan on June 18 for Record Store Day, with a digital release following sometime in July.
Having been first released as a limited single in 2000, the track allows Fraser's powerful soprano voice to shine over a brooding soundscape including strings and keys, with former Genesis guitarist Steve Hackett also making contributions to the mix.
It'll feature on the five-song release along with the previously unveiled cut Golden Air, which dropped back in April, marking Fraser's first proper new music in 13 years. Other cuts include Make Lovely The Day, Bluedusk, and Apples.
