Steve Lacy has announced his second studio album.
The follow-up to his 2019 debut 'Apollo XXI' is called 'Gemini Rights' and will arrive this summer, though a release date is still to be confirmed.
As a taster, The Internet guitarist has shared the first single, Mercury, which unfurls around influences from '70s bass-led funk and '60s Brazilian bossa nova, fused with jazz and contemporary pop. Head below to check out the accompanying Rubberband-directed video.
The Compton-born musician's last release was his 2020 compilation 'The Lo-Fis', a collection of his unofficial early tracks.
