Pianos Become The Teeth have released a new track, Skiv.
Following Genevieve, it's the second single from the Baltimore post-hardcore quintet's upcoming LP, 'Drift', due out on August 26 via Epitaph Records.
Inspired by Portishead, the dark, ominous ballad incorporates string and horn arrangements among its minimalist aesthetic. Guitarist Mike York commented:
"[Skiv] is one of my favourite songs we have ever done. It's slow and brooding and feels uncomfortably dry at times. This song feels like what a 3AM night feels like to me after having too much to drink."
