Levellers have announced a new Acoustic Tour for 2023.
The folk-punk legends have confirmed 18 shows for next February and March, including stops in Bath, Liverpool, Birmingham, Cambridge, Reading and London. Tickets go on general sale at 10am on July 8.
Alongside the dates, the band have revealed the trek will be accompanied by a new album of acoustic renditions of select songs from their back catalogue, with more details to be announced in the coming months. They said:
"We are really excited to be recording a new acoustic album, going through some of our old material, rearranging it for today and doing some new stuff too. Also, massively pleased to introduce new member Dan Donnelly to the recording world, and to be working with members of the 'collective' again - and some new guys. Then we’re looking forward to touring it! Going around the country’s most beautiful old theatres and some unique and different other venues too. Hopefully see you all there!"
The trek will take place five years after their hugely popular 2018 Acoustic Tour, and its companion album 'We The Collective'.
The band will also appear at a handful of festivals this summer, including Y Not? Festival, Rebellion Festival, and their own Beautiful Days event, before embarking on a run of European dates in the autumn.
NEW // In celebration of their new acoustic album, @the_levellers will be heading out on a very special UK tour next year, playing reimagined versions of their hits, old and new.
