First Aid Kit have announced their fifth studio album.
'Palomino' will arrive on November 4, following up 2018's 'Ruins', though the Swedish duo did drop a live Leonard Cohen tribute album, 'Who By Fire', in March 2021.
The news follows sisters Johanna and Klara Söderberg's recent song, Angel, and their folky cover of Don Henley's 1984 hit The Boys Of Summer. Their new single, Out Of My Head, is scheduled to arrive this Friday (August 12). Confirming the news with a post on social media, the pair said:
"We've been waiting for this moment for so long. We can finally say it. #Palomino, our FIFTH (!!) album is out November 4th and our new single #OutofMyHead will be out Friday August 12th. We love this record. It’s a special one. We can't wait for you to hear it. Pre order LP & CD and pre save #OutOfMyHead now. UK! Big tour news coming soon."
For the remainder of the summer, the pair have a handful of North American festival appearances in the diary.
