Dry Cleaning have dropped a new track, No Decent Shoes For Rain.
Made up of meandering jangly guitar and spoken word delivery, the nearly six-minute single will appear on the South London post-punks' upcoming album, 'Stumpwork', which is due out on October 21.
According to vocalist Florence Shaw, the song "is inspired by grief, grief over past relationships, grief for loved ones who have died, and all the things that come with that; loneliness, numbness, yearning, ruminating about the past." It follows the previously unveiled cuts Gary Ashby, Anna Calls From The Arctic and Don’t Press Me.
As part of a worldwide trek supporting the record, the band will head to Dublin, Belfast, Glasgow, Leeds, Liverpool, Nottingham, Sheffield, Manchester, Birmingham, Bristol, Cardiff, Brighton and London, where they'll perform at the O2 Academy Brixton, between February 14 and March 3.
The world tour will also include dates across mainland Europe, North America, Japan, Australia and New Zealand. Tickets are on sale.
