Serving up powerful, driving rhythms, Divine Attack - Shingeki serves as the first taster of the Japanese dance metal phenomenon's upcoming concept album, 'The Other One', which is due out on March 23.
Featuring, for the first time, lyrics written by Su-Metal, the song alludes to the theme of Cavalry, one of the 10 separate parallel worlds that are represented by each track on the ambitious record. A press release states:
"One of the discovered 10 parallel worlds is Cavalry, and their single Divine Attack – Shingeki centres around this theme. As if this song is a hint into the future, alluding to a cavalry preparing for their next battle, we can feel a new sense of power from not only the sound but also the lyrics that have been written by Su-Metal for the first time."
It was recently announced that Babymetal will join Lordi as special guests on Sabaton's UK and European Tour To End All Tours, which kicks off in Leeds on April 14 and culminates in Kuopio in Finland on May 20. Tickets for the UK run go on sale at 10am on October 21.
