Knucks, Little Simz And Central Cee Lead 2022 MOBO Award Nominations

The nominations for the 2022 MOBO Awards have been revealed.
Leading the way with five nominations is London rapper Knucks, followed by Mercury Prize-winner Little Simz (pictured) with four nods, the same number as Central Cee. MOBO founder, Kanya King, said in a statement:
"Today's announcement truly shows what a bumper year it has been for the scene. It's a proud moment to see MOBO once again recognise and honour the luminaries and tip the stars of the future. This is what it means when we say ‘honouring the past, inspiring the future."
The awards, which have celebrated music of black origin since 1996, will take place on November 30 at London's OVO Arena.
It will be the first year the awards will feature the Best Alternative Music Act category, nominees for which include Nova Twins, Big Joanie, Bob Vylan and Skunk Anansie. Check out the full list of nominations below. Public voting is open now here.
