Burna Boy has confirmed a huge London show as part of his Love, Damini Tour.
The Afrobeats superstar will take over the 60,000-capacity Stadium Olympic Park on June 3, marking the first time an African artist has headlined a UK stadium. Tickets go on general sale at 10am on November 25.
The announcement comes ahead of the Nigerian singer's gig at Dublin's 3Arena on December 4, as part of a run of European and US dates this autumn. He said:
"London Stadium is going to be my fairground! I’ve been told that I couldn’t achieve anything because of where I came from, I hope this can show people that when you have a dream it doesn’t matter where you’ve come from, your dream can come true. This is going to be legendary, it’s history and I can’t wait for you all to be a part of that."
The tour shares its name with the 31-year-old's latest album, released in July.
