The Lemon Twigs have shared their first new music in over two years.
Drawing influence from '60s pop and rock, the melancholic Corner Of My Eye marks brothers Brian and Michael D’Addario's first single for the Brooklyn-based independent label Captured Tracks.
Written and produced entirely by the duo, the soft, acoustic guitar-led song comes paired with a video shot in a cemetery, directed by Hilla Eden and Brian D'Addario. The Lemon Twigs said:
"We recorded this track in winter of 2021 in our old rehearsal studio in Midtown, NYC. Apart from the vibraphone, the instrumental track was recorded live with Andres Valbuena on drums and Daryl Johns on upright bass. We laid down the vocals late that night once the traffic outside had died down. We've had the song for a while now, so we’re excited to share it with fans who may have heard it live over the years!"
Their last album came in the form of 2020's 'Songs For The General Public'.
