The Smiths vocalist will perform at the Eventim Apollo on March 19, following two shows in Paris, and stops in Lyon and Strasbourg.
The news arrives following the recent announcement that Miley Cyrus will no longer appear on his new album, ’Bonfire Of Teenagers’, which has been delayed, with the singer previously stating: "Its fate is exclusively in the hands of Capitol Records."
In an extensive statement posted to his website on January 5, Morrissey revealed; "Miley has backed off for reasons unconnected to me, having had a major clash with a key figure in ’the circle."
It also went on to address issues such as cancel culture, and sees him refuting claims that his political views are Far Right. Read the full statement here.
Morrissey shared his first new single in three years, Rebels Without Applause, back in November. It will appear on the follow-up to 2020’s ’I Am Not A Dog On A Chain’, alongside collaborations with Red Hot Chili Peppers’ bassist Flea and drummer Chad Smith, and Iggy Pop, among others.
