Top Tickets This Week: John Fogerty, Funeral For A Friend, RuPaul's Drag Race, Haim, Morrissey

The Creedence Clearwater Revival co-founder, vocalist, songwriter and guitarist will bring The Celebration Tour to the UK later this spring, with shows confirmed at Manchester's AO Arena on May 25 and The O2 in London on May 29. 

Support will come from special guests Hearty Har, a band featuring his sons Shane and Tyler. The shows will see the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee performing Creedence Clearwater Revival tracks, as well as solo cuts.

Funeral For A Friend

The Welsh band will celebrate 20 years of their debut album, 'Casually Dressed & Deep In Conversation', with shows in Manchester, Glasgow, Leeds, Birmingham, Norwich, Cardiff and London, where they'll top the bill at the Roundhouse, during October. 

Support on the 20 Years Casually Dressed Tour will come from special guests Dashboard Confessional. Tickets go on general sale at 10am on March 10 - Compare and buy tickets here.


RuPaul's Drag Race: Werq The World

RuPaul's Drag Race: Werq The World will tour the UK and Ireland in the autumn.

Season 12 winner Jaida Essence Hall, season 10 winner Aquaria, plus Drag Race alumni Rosé, Angeria, Bosco, Daya Betty, Kandy Muse and Ginger Minj will perform as part of the high-production drag show at arenas in Cardiff, Leeds, Manchester, London, Birmingham, Newcastle, Aberdeen, Glasgow, Dublin, Sheffield, Liverpool and Brighton in October.

The Werq The World Tour will also head across North America during the summer, and to Europe following the UK run. Tickets for the UK, Ireland and North America dates go on general sale at 10am local time this Friday (March 10). Tickets for Europe are on sale - Compare and buy tickets here.


Haim

Sister trio Haim will make their debut at Luno presents All Points East on August 28, for what will be an exclusive European headline show. 

They'll be joined at London's Victoria Park by a supporting bill featuring Girl In Red, Confidence Man, Lizzy McAlpine, Tove Lo, Snail Mail, Romy, Avalon Emerson and The Charm, Tamino, Nieve Ella, Mae Stephens, Nell Mescal and GIGI. Tickets go on general sale at 10am on March 10 - Compare and buy tickets here.

Other All Points East headliners include Stormzy, who will play a UK exclusive show, collaborating with All Points East for This Is What We Mean Day on August 18. Additionally, The Strokes will top the bill on August 25, with Yeah Yeah Yeahs and many more. Back in January, it was confirmed that Aphex Twin and Bonobo will headline All Points East presents Field Day on August 19. Tickets are on sale now.


Morrissey

The Smiths vocalist will headline London's Crystal Palace Park on July 9, and Leeds' Millennium Square on July 12, with the latter being part of the Sounds Of The City series at which he'll be joined by special guests The Slow Readers Club. Tickets go on general sale at 10am this Friday, March 10 - Compare and buy tickets here

The announcement coincides with the start of his European tour, which will culminate with a show at London's Eventim Apollo on March 19.

UPDATE 10/03: Tickets for Morrissey's Leeds show will no longer go on sale today. We will update this story once there is further information.

  • Feeder are the latest headliners announced for this year's Trentham Live.
