The Damned have released a new song, Beware Of The Clown.
The driving, '60s rock-influenced track serves as the second taster of the legendary punk band's 12th studio album, 'Darkadelic', which is due out on April 28.
Written by founding member Captain Sensible, and featuring political lyrics that take aim at what he calls the "conveyor belt of bozos" in charge at Number 10 Downing Street, it was produced by Tom 'Mitch' Mitchener. It follows the previously shared cut The Invisible Man.
Head below to view the accompanying video, directed by Martin Gooch, who was also responsible for the band's 2022 concert film, A Night of A Thousand Vampires.
The group, featuring vocalist Dave Vanian, guitarist Sensible, bassist Paul Gray, keyboardist Monty Oxymoron and new drummer Will Glanville Taylor, will kick off their European tour tomorrow (March 11) in Milan, and their UK tour in Cardiff on March 31.
