Lucinda Williams Announces Star-Studded New Album 'Stories from a Rock n Roll Heart'

Lucinda Williams has announced a new album.

'Stories from a Rock n Roll Heart' will be released on June 30 through Highway 20 Records/Thirty Tigers. It was produced by Williams with her husband/manager Tom Overby, and Ray Kennedy.

The follow-up to 2020's 'Good Souls Better Angels' features guest backing vocals by Patti Scialfa, Bruce Springsteen, Jeremy Ivey, Jesse Malin, Buddy Miller, Angel Olsen, Margo Price and Tommy Stinson.

Malin also co-wrote three tracks on the record, and Travis Stephens, her longtime road manager who is also an experienced guitarist and songwriter, co-wrote six.

Alongside news of the record, Williams has shared the cut New York Comeback, which she wrote with Overby and Malin. The captivating Americana track features backing vocals from Springsteen and Scialfa. Spin it below.

This year will also see the Grammy winner release her memoir, Don’t Tell Anybody The Secrets I Told You, on April 25.
