Kaytranada and Aminé have revealed details of a joint album.
The Grammy Award-winner and West Coast MC will drop the self-titled collaborative record under the banner Kaytraminé on May 12.
As a preview, they've released the Pharrell Williams-assisted single 4EVA, a percussive groove-based track that shows off all three artists' strengths over woozy, synth-led production. Head below for its video directed by frequent Aminé collaborator Jack Begert.
It marks the first original single of the year from Kaytranada, who previously produced three songs on Aminé’s 2015 mixtape, 'Calling Brio'. In 2021, Aminé dropped his 'TWOPOINTFIVE project', while Kaytranada put out the 'Intimidated' EP. The latter's 2022 Twin Flame collaboration with Anderson. Paak is his latest release.
Aminé, Kaytranada and Williams are all scheduled to perform separately at the Get Lucky singer's Virginia Beach-based Something In The Water festival on April 23. Following a spot at Coachella, Kaytranada will tour Europe in the summer as part of The Weeknd'sAfter Hours Til Dawn Tour.
