Florence and the Machine have shared a new single, Mermaids.
Out now through Polydor, vocalist Florence Welch co-wrote the hauntingly beautiful track with Glass Animals' Dave Bayley. Despite its sinister tone, it doesn't take itself too seriously, and features tongue-in-cheek one-liners such as, "You haven't seen nothing until you've seen an English girl drink."
The song appears on 'Dance Fever - The Complete Edition', which also features spoken word poem versions of album tracks King, My Love and Cassandra alongside the original tracklist.
Florence And The Machine have large outdoor concerts lined up in Cork, Dublin and Belfast this summer, as well as shows in mainland Europe and a headline set at Boardmasters Festival in Newquay, Cornwall.
