Becky Hill has released her first new single of 2023.
Side Effects was written by the two-time Brit Award-winner alongside Lewis Thompson, producer Jon Shave and longterm collaborators Karen Pooleand and MNEK, who also contributes backing vocals. The energetic club banger comes with a KC Locke-directed video featuring Hill in various locations, including a nightclub surrounded by dancers, a bed, and on stage. She said:
"I haven't released a solo record in over a year, so coming out the door after a second Brit win feels very exciting! I’m playing the UK’s best festivals this year and I can’t wait for people to have a new song to sing along with me. Side Effects has been made with my favourite people in the industry, and this one really feels like the beginning of my new chapter in my artistry. Album two here we come."
Hill, who dropped her debut album 'Only Honest On The Weekend' in 2021, will play Dublin's Fairview Park on June 16, before a headline slot at Sea Sessions the following day. She'll also top the bill at Belfast's Custom House Square in August.
