Far From Saints have released a new single, Screaming Hallelujah.

The track serves as the opener of the Kelly Jones-fronted band's upcoming self-titled debut album, due out on June 16 via Ignition Records.

Following the previously unveiled cuts, Let's Turn This Back Around and Take It Through The Night, the song finds the Stereophonics frontman trading soulful vocals with co-singer Patty Lynn over a gentle acoustic guitar riff. Evoking a cross-genre sound spanning country, folk and Americana, it offers a message of acceptance to a loved one going through difficulties.

"I was thinking about how we should try to grow right along with them, because they're still here," Lynn commented.

"It’s about change and growth, but with all the struggles that come with that" added Jones. "With every song I write, I try to write about the whole struggle but leave a light at the end of the tunnel."

Head below to view the song's video, which Jones directed and which includes footage from the band's recent show during the Teenage Cancer Trust gala at London's Royal Albert Hall.

Far From Saints will play tiny shows in Glasgow and Leeds before supporting Kings Of Leon at two shows in Wrexham on May 27 and 28. They'll also take over EartH in London on June 5, before an appearance at Black Deer Festival and three outdoor shows lined up as special guests to Paul Weller.

Far From Saints Upcoming Tour Dates are as follows

Thu May 25 2023 - GLASGOW Oran Mor
Fri May 26 2023 - LEEDS Brudenell Social Club
Mon June 05 2023 - LONDON EartH (Theatre)
