Queens Of The Stone Age Drop New Track Paper Machete Ahead Of 'In Times New Roman...' Release

Queens Of The Stone Age have released another track from their new album.
Paper Machete serves as the third and final preview of 'In Times New Roman...', due out through Matatdor Records tomorrow (June 16).
Driven by muscular, sludgy guitar riffage that contrasts with frontman Josh Homme's slick wordplay and falsetto vocals, it follows the previously unveiled cuts Carnavoyeur and Emotion Sickness.
The band will support the LP with outdoor UK shows in Halifax, Margate and Cardiff in June, ahead of a slot at Glastonbury Festival. They also have festival appearances scheduled across mainland Europe, before a return to North America for a mix of headline dates and festival sets between August and October.
Following that, the band will bring The End Is Nero Tour to arenas across Europe and the UK, kicking off in Amsterdam on November 4. The trek will also see them call in Manchester, London, Glasgow, Birmingham, Stockton-On-Tees and Dublin, where they'll wrap up the run at the 3Arena on November 22.
Support on the UK and European run will come from The Chats and Deep Tan, with tickets on general sale at 10am local time tomorrow.
