Aerosmith To Celebrate Five Decades With Career-Spanning 'Greatest Hits' Collection

Aerosmith will release a career-spanning compilation album this summer.

The massive deluxe 44-song 'Greatest Hits' collection will arrive via UMe/Capitol on August 18 as part of the Boston rock legends' 50th anniversary celebrations.

Other non-deluxe editions of the release will comprise 10, 18 or 20 songs from the band's extensive back catalogue, with tracks such as Dream On, Walk This Way, Sweet Emotion, Toys In The Attic, Crazy, Cryin' and I Don’t Want To Miss A Thing set to appear across all formats. The super deluxe edition will come with premium book-style sleeves and black-and-white lithographs, along with live photography and rarely seen photos of the band.

Aerosmith will bring the curtain down on their hugely successful career with the 40-date Peace Out Farewell Tour, kicking off in Philadelphia on September 2. Further shows are scheduled in major North American cities through to January 2024, though it's currently unclear if there will be any UK and European dates on the trek.
