Melding psychedelic-rock and experimental, electro-pop, the dancey house offering will appear on the band's debut album, 'DK.01', which is due out on September 22. They said:
"Maybe this one’s about thieves in public school uniforms and their tax haven stashes. The start was pure electronic. Then the vocals pushed open a door. What was behind it was kind of bizarre. But, then, that’s music."
It follows the April single, Best Mind F*ck Yet, which finds Welsh actor Rhys Ifans contributing guest vocals. Their debut EP, 'The Condemned', arrived in March.
Das Koolies features four-fifths of Super Furry Animals; Huw Bunford, Cian Ciarán, Dafydd Ieuan and Guto Pryce. They'll play Rough Trade in-store shows in London, Bristol and Nottingham around the record's release. Head here for details.
