Willie J Healy Teases 'Bunny' LP With New Single Woke Up Smiling

Willie J Healy has dropped another track from his upcoming third album.
The sunny Woke Up Smiling serves as the final preview of 'Bunny', which is scheduled to arrive on August 25. Other prevously shared singles from the record include Little Sister, Thank You with Jamie T, Sure Feels Good, Dreams and Tiger Woods. He said:
"I wrote this during a glorious period of my life. I was living in a studio flat in Bristol, it had these huge sash windows which let huge amounts of morning sun in. I’d make coffee and sit with my guitar and cat, I’m pretty sure my cat helped me write that song."
Hazy with elements of retro soul, rock and R&B, it arrives hot on the heels of him supporting Jamie T at London's Finsbury Park, and European dates with Arctic Monkeys.
He'll embark on a UK and Ireland headline tour in the autumn, which includes his biggest London gig to date at Brixton Electric. Tickets are on sale.
