Arctic Monkeys, Jessie Ware, J Hus And Young Fathers Among Mercury Prize Nominees

The nominations for the 2023 Mercury Prize have been announced.
Young Fathers (pictured) are in the running with their fourth album 'Heavy Heavy', Arctic Monkeys have been nominated for 'The Car', J Hus for his third LP 'Beautiful and Brutal Yard' and Jessie Ware for her fifth 'That! Feels Good!, with the winner set to succeed Little Simz, who took home the prize last year for 'Sometimes I Might Be Introvert'. Check out the full list below:

The judges for this year's prize are Anna Calvi, Danielle Perry, Hannah Peel, Jamie Cullum, Jamz Supernova, Jeff Smith, Lea Stonhill, MistaJam, Phil Alexander, Sian Eleri, Tshepo Mokoena and Will Hodgkinson.
The winner will be announced during a live ceremony at London's Eventim Apollo on September 7. Tickets are on sale.
