Lost Girls, the collaborative project between Jenny Hval and Håvard Volden, have announced a new album.

'Selvutsletter' will arrive on October 20 via Smalltown Supersound and feature July single Ruins along with the newly shared With The Other Hand.

Inspired by Leonard Cohen, the experimental track came together following a guitar line written by Volden. In a statement, Hval described it as, "a pop song whispering about someone’s mysterious journey through a street, a building, and a stage."

She added: "The chorus goes like this: ‘With the other hand I open rooms/With the first one I write,’ describing two parts of something—a creative process, or two parts of the unconscious. Or perhaps the two hands describe Lost Girls themselves. One opens rooms, the other writes."

Lost Girls put out their first album, 'Menneskekollektivet', in 2021. The following year, Hval dropped her solo LP 'Classic Objects'.

They'll play London's Corsica Studios on November 7. Tickets are on sale.
