Taylor Swift (pictured) won big at the MTV VMAs last night, picking up nine prizes.

Going into the night with nominations in 11 categories, the pop superstar, who's currently in the middle of her record-breaking Eras Tour, scooped the event's top prize, Video Of The Year, for her 'Midnights' track Anti-Hero, as well as awards for Best Direction, Best Pop Video, Song Of The Year and Album Of The Year.

Other winners on the night included Shakira with the Video Vanguard Award, as well as Best Duo alongside Karol G for their song TQG. Ice Spice took home Best New Artist, BLACKPINK won Group Of The Year and Best Choreography, Anitta took Best Latin for Funk Rave, while Nicki Minaj won the Moonman trophy for Best Hip Hop for Super Freaky Girl. Diddy also took the stage to perform some hits and to accept the Global Icon Award.

Other performers on the night included Olivia Rodrigo, Fall Out Boy, Metro Boomin with Future, A Boogie Wit da Hoodie, Demi Lovato, Lil Wayne, Anitta, Doja Cat, Kelsea Ballerini, Tomorrow X Together, Karol G, Måneskin, who picked up Best Rock Video for The Loneliest, and boyband Stray Kids, who picked up Best K-Pop.

There was also a surprise appearance from American boyband NSYNC, who reunited for the first time in over a decade to present one of the prizes to Swift. The group — Lance Bass, Joey Fatone, JC Chasez, Chris Kirkpatrick and Justin Timberlake — formed in 1995, but have not performed together since the 2013 MTV VMAs.
