Foo Fighters' Chris Shiflett has dropped a new single, Overboard.
Propelled by strummed guitars, the breezy, laid-back rocker will appear on his third solo LP, 'Lost At Sea', due out on October 20. He said:
"My favourite songs are the ones you don’t have to labour over. Sometimes you have those magic songwriting moments when your pen can barely keep up with the words and it all spills out really quickly. Somehow they always just sing and play better, looser, freer."
It'll be joined on the record by the previously unveiled cuts Damage Control, Dead And Gone and Black Top White Lines. Recorded mostly in Nashville with producer and collaborator Jaren Johnston, frontman for The Cadillac Three, the album follows 2019's 'Hard Lessons' and 2017's 'West Coast Town'.
Foo Fighters, meanwhile, have just added new dates in Santa Barbara and Houston to their current string of dates across North America, which continues with a show at Asbury Park, New Jersey on Sunday (September 17).
The Grammy Award-winning rockers also have Australian and New Zealand shows scheduled for November, December and January, before UK concerts next summer. They're touring in support of their new album, 'But Here We Are', released in June.
