Jamila Woods has shared another single from her new album.
Good News serves as the third preview of 'Water Made Us', which is due out through Jagjaguwar on October 13, following up 2019's 'Legacy! Legacy!'.
Co-written by the Chicago singer alongside Biako and Jean Placide, the soothing R&B track follows the previously unveiled album cuts Boomerang, and Tiny Garden with Duendita. Woods commented:
"The title of the album comes from one of the lyrics, 'the good news is we were happy once / the good news is water always runs back where it came from / the good news is water made us'. For me, the song is a lesson in surrender, a lesson I learn from water over and over again."
