Richard Hawley To Play Biggest Show To Date At Sheffield's Don Valley Bowl For Rock N Roll Circus

Richard Hawley has announced his biggest headline show to date.
The former Pulp guitarist and solo artist will play a huge hometown concert at Sheffield's Don Valley Bowl on August 29 as part of the circus-themed live music weekender, Rock N Roll Circus.
The Sheffield artist will open the four-day series, which is now in its second year in the city, joined by special guests The Divine Comedy, The Coral, and more acts that are still to be announced.
Get pre-sale tickets via Gigantic from 10am on Wednesday (December 13), ahead of general sale at 10am on Friday (December 15). Hawley said:
"It's always a privilege and an honour to play in my home town. I loved seeing Self Esteem at the Rock N Roll circus last year so I'm looking forward to it myself in '24"
Previously announced headliners for Rock N Roll Circus include Becky Hill on August 30 and Milburn on August 31.
Hawley already has a headline UK and Ireland tour in the diary for spring, with stops confirmed in Dublin, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Leicester, Bristol, London, Brighton, Wolverhampton, Manchester, Gateshead, Liverpool, Norwich, Portsmouth and Scarborough between May 24 and June 20. Tickets for those dates are already on sale.
His most recent studio full-length release is 2019's 'Further'. In 2022, he put out the 'Live At Halifax Piece Hall' LP, and in October of this year he put out his first compilation, 'Now Then: The Very Best Of Richard Hawley'.
