The Smashing Pumpkins have announced the European leg of their The World Is A Vampire Tour.
The alt-rock legends will kick off the run in Paris, France on June 16, before stops in Germany, Austria, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Poland and Czech Republic. Support on select dates will come from Interpol and Tom Morello. Tickets are on sale now.
They'll also headline various European festivals, including NOS Alive Festival in Lisbon, Portugal in July, before dates supporting Green Day in North America throughout the rest of the summer.
In October, longtime guitarist Jeff Schroeder announced his exit from the band after 16 years. In a statement released on social media, Schroeder said he made the "very difficult decision" in order to "make some space to explore a slightly different path."
The Smashing Pumpkins, who released their most recent album, ’Atum’, in May, also have a co-headline UK and Ireland tour with Weezer lined up earlier in June. Tickets for those dates are also on sale now.
