Billy Morrison has announced his third solo album.
The long-time rhythm guitarist in Billy Idol's band co-wrote and recorded 'The Morrison Project' with Billy Idol drummer Erik Eldenius and bassist Jeordie White, also known as Twiggy Ramirez, who previously played with Marilyn Manson and Nine Inch Nails.
It'll feature collaborations with Billy Idol, Ozzy Osbourne, Al Jourgensen of Ministry, Slipknot frontman Corey Taylor and current Mötley Crüe guitarist John 5.
Other musicians enlisted include Black Sabbath touring drummer Tommy Clufetos, rapper Darryl "DMC" McDaniels, 4 Non Blondes singer Linda Perry, his Billy Idol bandmate Steve Stevens, Steve Vai, and more.
Morrison took to Instagram to confirm the news, announcing a deal with The Label Group/Virgin Music and the record's April 19 release date. He also revealed that the first single, Drowning, will arrive on February 23.
'The Morrison Project' will serve as the follow-up 2015's 'God Shaped Hole' and 2008's 'Stimulator'. Following its arrival, Morrison will perform with Billy Idol at Atlanta's Shaky Knees Music Festival in May.
