Megan Thee Stallion has shared a new single, Hiss.
The track finds the Grammy-winning rapper delivering scathing rapid-fire bars atop bass-heavy beats and ominous piano. Right out of the gate, she let's us know she's taking no prisoners:
"I just wanna kick this shit off by sayin' fuck y'all, I ain't gotta clear my name on a motherfuckin' thing, Every time I get mentioned, one of y'all bitch-ass niggas get twenty-four hours of attention, I'm finna get this shit off my chest and lay it to rest, let's go!"
The song offers similarly candid lyrics and defiant tone to her late 2023 single Cobra, which received a Spiritbox remix promptly after its release. Despite the new material, however, there's still no news on a follow-up to 2022's 'Traumazine'.
Earlier in January, a video was released for Not My Fault, the rapper's collaboration with Reneé Rapp, which closes the soundtrack for the Paramount Pictures film adaptation of Mean Girls: The Musical.
She also recently featured on the Timbaland remix of Danielle Brooks' Hell No! from the soundtrack to the new The Color Purple movie.
