Atlas Genius have shared their first new music in over four years.
The release of new songs Nobody Loves Like You and Romans comes as the Adelaide brothers celebrate the 11-year anniversary of their debut album, 'When It Was Now'. The album will be reissued as an exclusive vinyl available to pre-order via their website.
Commenting on the new alt-rock tracks, singer Keith Jeffery said:
"Nobody Loves Like You is about waking up to the idea that you already have someone great in your life, and now you’re trying not to screw it up.
"The melody and lyrics for Romans kinda just fell out of my head. It was a little homage to the—often disastrous—idea of staying friends with an ex."
Brothers Keith, Steven and Michael Jeffrey last full-length release was their 2015 album 'Inanimate Objects', though they released the single Elegant Strangers in 2021.
The band will play their first show in five years on May 2 at Live 105 Soundcheck Nite at the Rickshaw stop in San Francisco presented by Pop Scene. They'll also play BeachLife Festival in Redondo Beach, California on May 5.
