Following January's single Killing Time, the radiant, heartfelt track marks the second preview of the burgeoning singer-songwriter's debut EP, 'Can I Miss It For A Minute?', due out on May 3 via LAB Records.
The Irish artist describes it as, "a song about struggling to move on from past situations and how that affects making new relationships. It’s about growing up and navigating relationships with the worry that the people you love will leave you."
Last year, Mescal put out a series of singles, including Teeth, Punchline, In My Head and Homesick.
Her next performance will be a set at Blur bassist Alex James' The Big Feastival in August, which will be headlined by Becky Hill, Ministry Of Sound Classical and Snow Patrol. Tickets are on sale now.
'Can I Miss It For A Minute?' tracklist:
1. Warm Body
2. Yellow Dresser
3. Killing Time
4. Electric Picnic
